The beauty of stir fry is you can easily mix and match ingredients you have available to concoct something healthful within 30 minutes.
For this recipe I combine soy sauce, honey and sriracha sauce with onions, carrots and green pepper. The sweet and spicy sauce goes great with chicken, too. If you have some on hand, then toss some in for a little more protein.
Getting everything prepped and prepared within 30 minutes requires starting the rice first, as it usually takes at least 20 minutes to cook. Once that is underway, chop the chicken and veggies. When you have 10 minutes to go with the rice, then start the stir fry.
I’m not sure why, but anytime I have a sweet stir fry I prefer to serve it with white jasmine rice. Feel free to use brown rice or rice noodles instead.
